Thanks for your question.  We would defer to the NHS here and suggest that, as with other vaccines, there is no evidence that anything other than antibodies passes into breast milk so getting vaccinated shouldn’t pose a problem.
The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has advised

‘The benefits of breastfeeding are well known.’ The JCVI has recommended that the vaccines can be received whilst breastfeeding. This is in line with recommendations from the USA and the World Health Organization’.

The World Health Organisation recommends that mothers with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 should be encouraged to initiate or continue to breastfeed. Mothers should be counselled that the benefits of breastfeeding substantially outweigh the potential risks for transmission.
We would of course recommend you continue to read updates from the WHO and NHS – as more and more is understood, the answer to the question will evolve.
